This laptop vault keeps your laptop safe, and restricts access to data. For healthcare, this lets you comply with HIPAA §164.310 providing physical safeguards, restricting access to patient information. For Department of Defense and government agencies, flipIT® Laptop Safe meets National Security Guidelines described in the Safety Act of 2002.
Proper ergonomics for the computer classroom! The lid opens to a lower profile than the laptop screen, keeping sight lines unbostructed. It can be used at the podium or at computer tables, sized at the right height for laptop use. The laptop can be brought forward onto the padded bar provided to create a cooling air passage for ventillation under the laptop and to provide a downward keyboard tilt that is easy on the wrists. |

flipIT® stand-up computer podiums incorporate SMARTdesks' patented flipIT® LCD mechanism. Provides a semi-recessed view of the display to eliminate any line-of-sight obstruction between instructor and student. The LCD screen is visible to the teacher from behind and to the sides of the podium for freedom of movement while lecturing.
Podiums are 30 inches deep, 42 inches high and are sized in 4 widths: 30, 36, 54 and 60 inches. The narrower versions have storage below and the wider podiums have an additional storage bay to the side. |

Each MPLEX™ FI Series Computer Podium is designed to meet your specific requirements. The semi-recessed LCD monitor series is configured with locking single and double equipment and storage bays and is available in two depths and 4 widths.
The flipIT® FIK-23 is for widescreen LCDs up to 23" case width. Shown with Apple® 24" HD Cinema Display and MacPro G5 CPU. Doors are on 270° hinges to enable them to fold flat agaist the sides when the podium is in use.
